From North to South

Amy's ramblings. Once upon a time these ramblings pertained to my 5 months in Guatemala and Honduras. Then they followed the ebb and flow of my final semester in Alaska. From there things really went south ... to Argentina, Bolivia and Chile. After 8 months in the Andes, I fell back under Alaska's spell … working at a newspaper and wandering mountains. Now I'm somewhat south again ... in Jackson Hole, WY, teaching ski school on the clock and making fresh tracks off the clock.

Small-town America: mission accomplished

You have to click on this link and watch (not read) the story. Yes, that is a command.

This is a project that has been months in the making... and to see the story I've put dozens of hours into on the front page of KTUU's Web site... and to have watched it as it was broadcast throughout Alaska... is a huge feeling for me.

I'll try to get the video up on my blog soon, but in the meantime, take the few minutes to click the link and watch the story... it's one that will leave you feeling all happy inside... at least that's how I feel when I watch it.
