Almost tropical
Tomorrow Joshua and I leave from Uyuni for a three day tour of the Solar, the largest salt flats in the world, and a nearby national park. We're going with a great couple of people from Austria who we met on the bus and have since been traveling with. I expect the landscapes over the next few days will be strange and beautiful, and the company fun!
Small village on Isla del Sol where we ate an awesome trout lunch
Really colorful row boats were anchored in the harbors
A spectacular sunset after a spectacular day on Isla del Sol
Katya, Fin and I playing on the stange, modern statue here in Uyuni. Katya and Fin are our new Austrian friends!
Joshua sporting his llama hat and new sunglasses, which he'll use for the trip through the Solar
The views on Isla del Sol through a portal in the Inca Ruins
"Sacrificing" myself on the alter in front of where the moon and sun were born according to Inca mythology... sacriligious or just a silly tourist?
Beautiful views over the Inca ruins
